An effective reloading device is an integral part of a high-performance SAP system. SAP must be transferred from the supply point, whether a bulk bag or silo, to the production line in an optimal and timely manner.
Bulk bag unloaders
Since most facilities choose to use SAP in the form of bulk sacks, Faber offers sack unloaders with support for them and the necessary connections to enable their integration into the SAP system.
Vacuum conveyors
Whether SAP is supplied in bulk sacks or in a silo, Faber offers a wide range of vacuum conveyors, including pump, conveying tube and properly sized receiving vessel. To complete the system and ensure ease of installation, a single support frame is normally supplied for the vacuum conveyor and SAP applicator.
SAP Handling Systems for Optimal Process Performance To ensure optimal process performance, it is important that the SAP handling system is designed correctly and uses the best possible equipment at each stage. In different production processes for diapers, adult incontinence products, and femcare, SAP is added in different ways. For diapers and heavy incontinence products: SAP is normally mixed with pulp in a continuous stream before being separated into pockets in a forming drum to produce the absorbent core. In femcare and lighter absorbency applications: an airlaid material is often used as the absorbent core. Additional absorbency is then provided by the addition of a layer of SAP on top of the airlaid material to allow production of different types of product on the same machine.
