URCA BENCHTOP BATCHING STATION
The URCA benchtop loss-in-weight feeder is a dosing station that is distinguished by the great versatility and dosing accuracy achievable with loss-in-weight operation for batch dosing.
Loss-in-Weight dosing management which allows the feeder to be controlled at the various stages of dosing, initial, roughing and finishing, by subtracting the dosing value from the overall system weight. Through this, it is possible to guarantee at each discharge the actual amount dosed by the system into the end user.
Such a system stands with numerous advantages over a volumetric system, where an end-of-line check is required to verify the dosed weight, or dosing systems with heads on external load cells where there is the possibility of sedimentation of material which goes to affect the actual dosed weight.
The dosing element can be provided with vibrating trough or screw feeder, according to the product and flow rate required based on the specific needs required.
The URCA DA BANCO system can be used either with automatic packaging systems or with semi-automatic lines in which it is sufficient to place the container (bag, jar, box, etc...) under the discharge point of the dosing unit.
The simplicity of construction and ease of use ensure fast handling and rapid sanitization of the system, avoiding production pollution either in case of frequent product changes or frequent sanitization.
The system can later be implemented with one of our vacuum conveying systems to allow automatic loading of the storage hopper.
Made entirely of AISI304, it is particularly suitable for the food industry where product hygiene, in contact with machine parts, must always be guaranteed.
